The Koru Foundation is the official charity of the European Wind Energy Association and will be exhibiting at this year's European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition in Warsaw , 20th - 23rd of April.

As part of their commitment to make their conferences more sustainable, EWEA has pledged to donate €1 for every delegate who attends EWEC 2010 as a contribution towards compensating for the travel emissions generated by the conference.

EWEA donated €5000 on behalf of all the participants of the European Offshore Wind Conference and Exhibition in Stockholm last year which will allow the Koru Foundation to set up a micro hydro project in a poor community in central Mozambique which will make a huge difference to health, education and livelihoods of people living there.
