Individual Giving

There are many ways to support the Koru Foundation. You can support us by participating in one of our fundraising events, through Payroll Giving or by making a one off or regular donation through our justgiving page.

What is Payroll Giving?

If you are thinking of making a new regular donation to a registered charity, payroll giving is a tax-effective way of giving, especially if you are a higher rate tax payer. Payroll Giving enables you to donate by deduction from your gross monthly pay, before tax. This means that you can afford to give more. Your regular donation is then processed by an agency which charges a minimal fee for passing it on to us.

To give via Payroll Giving, you must be an employee or pensioner paying tax in the UK. Payroll Giving is taken straight from your gross (pre tax) pay, and the deduction will be shown on your payslip.

There is no upper or lower limit to your donation and you can give to as many causes as you want with the benefit of only one deduction from your pay.

Just Giving

If your company doesn't have a Payroll Giving scheme, you can make a one off or a monthly donation, through our Just Giving page. If you are a UK tax payer, don't forget to Gift Aid it, and we will be able to reclaim 25p of tax for every £1 you give us. Simple!
