The Koru Foundation is very greatful to all the organisations that have supported our programme work and enabled us to improve the health, education and livelihoods of communities in the developing world by providing them with a clean, sustainable source of energy.

Africa Programme

In Northern Uganda we have distributed several hundred solar lamps to refugees returning after the civil war, thanks to money raised by the participants in the 2009 London Triathlon Renewable Energy Cup and King Sturge Property Triathlon.

We are also in the process of providing power to 50 families in the rural community of Ndirie in central Mozambique through the installation of a micro hydro system thanks to donations from EWEA and supporters of our 2009 Christmas card appeal.
