The Scottish based wind farm developer vento ludens Ltd have recently announced that they will be the lead supporter for the exciting new initiative running4renewables. The initiative aims to recruit volunteers from the renewables industry to raise funds by taking part in running events throughout the UK.
Koru secures support from the JJ Charitable Trust
The Koru Foundation is pleased to announce that the JJ Charitable Trust has agreed to support the foundation for three years.
The JJ Charitable Trust is one of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts and is one of the leading examples of sustained philanthropy in the UK.
It focuses on funding environmental projects both in the UK and overseas. The Trust has chosen to support the work of the Koru Foundation because we share a common goal of helping people to develop in an environmentally sustainable way.

The Koru Foundation is the official charity of the European Wind Energy Association and will be exhibiting at this year's European Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition in Warsaw , 20th - 23rd of April.

Koru Foundation appoints new CEO
Neil Jeffery was recently appointed as the new CEO of the Koru Foundation, and started in the role in early December
Chris Tomlinson, Director of Programme Strategy at BWEA and member of the Board of the Koru Foundation expressed his support for the decision; "We are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Jeffery as our new Chief Executive. Through an extensive search and selection process we believe we have found an outstanding candidate to lead the organisation through the next critical stage of its development."
Koru at All Energy 2010 Conference

This december representatives from across the world are meeting for COP 15 - the UN Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen. The success or failure to agree an international framework on climate emissions will determine whether we are able to prevent a catastrophic temperature rise of four to six degrees centigrade.
