Working through partnerships
The Koru Foundation believes that the best way to provide sustainable solutions to community development is to start with the people themselves. Building a strong partnership with the local community is an essential part of our work in order to respect the communities cultural values at the same time as developing a solution which meets the needs of the community.
In order to work closely with local communities, the Koru Foundation works with non-governmental organisations who have a history of sucessfully implementing poverty reduction projects with local communities in developing countries including Practical Action, Blue Energy, Green Empowerment, Vanrepa, Asofenix and Trocaire.
